Xbox 360 20GB

I think the overall product is great…while I am definitely not a Microsoft fan, once you get the product to work it is a pleasing experience. There have been a lot of known issues with the Xbox and I did experience them myself with the one I bought. Xbox is working to correct the issue and now that mine is back in my hands, it is working as it should. The units fan is a bit loud and that can be annoying if you are sitting on top of it. I love the feature where you can turn the unit off and on with the wireless remote. I love that you can play your friends and talk to them on the headset while you are playing (Xbox Live feature) and by the way, this feature is very handy when playing games like Left For Dead. The graphics are great. The dashboard is very user friendly and some of the features in the dashboard such as picking your gamer avatar are fun. I think it was worth what I paid for mine, but then I didn’t buy a new one. I bought a refurbished one and for the price I paid, I feel as if I got my moneys worth. I would not pay retail for this item and I definitely was not paying full price when it first came out. I mean it is good but not worth $300 let alone $600. That is completely outrageous!

Xbox 360 Pro Console review
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Console works great! Games look great even on a tv from 1988. Even on a 47 inch HDTV in 1080i. Runs smoothly and all of the cons are very minor.

Pros: Awesome graphics, fantastic games, NXE is cool.

Cons: Slightly awkward controller, console is pretty large and heavy, kind of awkward to hook up, noisy.

Overall: Great console with only minor setbacks.

ripped off money

I bought this Xbox, and the very next day I received it the red light appeared, already broken just the day after I received it, terrible, they simply ripped off my money, I do not recommend this seller and even less the product.

I’ve been a big fan of 360′s for a long time. When my old 360 went RROD I was worried about going refurbished or even 360… I went to PS3 but the games aren’t that great except for a few. So here I am in Iraq with plenty of downtime, so I bought a cheap refurb and it is doing great! sure there is no HDMI output, but ehh, halo 3 and left for dead still look great in component/720p!

Red Ring Of Death.
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Ok im here to talk you guys about the xbox360. It’s a pretty good console in my opinion. ok. but the only problem is, the RROD (red ring of death).

i bought this console during a family trip to miami in the summer of 2007.

but now it has turned on 3 red lights on the “Light ring” that actually ruins your console. I played a lot, i have 13 games for this console but, is time to get it to fix. and if it doesnt fix, ima save a lot and get a new console. It hurts to throw my friend to the trash but well…

Great Buy
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have had a wii for a while and have not been thrilled too much with the games, and I decided to buy and xbox 360. I am enjoying it much more than the wii. Xbox live is way more interactive and finds faster matches for online games. Also, it allows you to talk with friends. I am very happy that I decided to get an xbox 360.

Great system!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Everything works great! Runs very cool and quietly, no problems so far or overheating. The sale described the system being refurbished by microsoft but the warranty sticker was voided so I wonder if that was true. In any case it works wonderfully.

xbox 360 refurbished
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I recently purchased a refurbished xbox360. It was a great buy. Fast shipping too. I had some trouble with it shortly after I got it, but no worries, the seller offers a 90 day warrant. I emailed him and he responded right away to get it back to him. He fixed it and had it back to me within 3 days. Great service and a great buy. If you’re looking to save some money, but got to have a 360 buy one refurbished. With a good warranty you can’t go wrong.

Still going strong

Ok i got my xbox 360 for christmas and it is still working fine its 1 and a half years old nothing wrong other than overheating so i call up my cousin says it might be dust so i take the hole casing off(not recommended unless your warrenty is gone like mine) and blew all the dust off. Now my xbox 360 is working perfectly again.

Xbox live is a blast to have especially with your friends and then the people online. It is deffinently worth every penny. Oh and the only reason you hear peoples dying after 2 months is because all they do is play it because it can be addicting.

worst experience
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
The first thing that was wrong was that they sent the wrong power brick with the system. I had already had an xbox 360 and this was one that was suppose to go off to college with my son. I used my other power brick to see if it worked and it worked for 5minutes and then got the red ring and stopped working. I emailed the sender and received an email back stating I had purchased the wrong power brick. Then I went back stating I had received the whole system and not just the power brick and that the system wasn’t working. They apologized and stated that I had to send the system back to them. I had stated that I didn’t want to have to pay for shipping and handling back and they stated that I would be reimbursed. I then sent back the system and 2weeks after that I emailed about my shipping and handling refund and I was told that they weren’t going to do that until I showed an email that stated it would be refunded. All in all this was the worst experience I had ever had on amazon. The seller didn’t seem to feel that they should go out of there way to make the buyer happy and with all the other people I have purchased from they seemed like they cared if I was happy or not but not this seller.

If you buy one, you’ll eventually buy two.
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
The system is a blast to play when it’s working. Unfortunately there is a boatload of problems to be had from the 360 for some reason. I guess they should have not released it so early. It seems like I could hit my PS3 with a sledgehammer and it would still keep ticking. The first problem was the Red Ring of Death. But I was happy that Microsoft completely fixed that. When the system got shipped back though, the open and close tray messed up first thing out of the box after being refurbished. I dealt with that though up until the “no video but sound works fine” hiccup a lot of the system’s are having. This is not covered under Xbox’s 3-year warranty extension and costs money to fix. Hopefully it might be covered someday. It really should due to the number of cases reported. But I just decided to buy a new one with a much better warranty due to all of the problems my current 360 has had. No wonder Microsoft is reporting tons of sales. Most people are probably on their second or third Xbox. But after making Xbox Live such a gamer’s commodity, I’m not surprised why people keep coming back despite the terrible fragility of Microsoft’s product.
