Very Nice Controller

Design:
This controller has an amazing design. The shaped and size is perfect for almost anyones hands.
Buttons:
I really like the X Y B and A buttons also. If someone is learning how to play a game and asks you which button to press you can easily say “press the A button, or press the green button” because they are all different colors. Another great button is the Xbox Guide button. This one will bring up the “guide” which lets you view almost everything you would be able to view from the dashboard in a game.
Joysticks:
Microsoft did a great job on placing the joysticks. The left stick is in the upper left hand of the controller. And the right stick is in the lower right. This makes it easier to play games where you constantly have to push up on the left stick to move forward. (FPS games, some racing games, RTS, Adventure games). Almost all games use the left stick for movement.
Complaints:
The only complaints that I have is the fact that the battery pack at the bottom of the wireless controller can get in the way of your fingers. Although this isn’t much of a big deal, its still one of my complaints.
Another complaint is the D-pad. I don’t know how to describe this, its just that it seems like it wont press down all the way on some controllers.

I thought my son would have a stroke the night his limited edition Halo 3 controller died. Literally no one else had this thing, but thanks to Amazon we not only found one, but had it in just a couple of days. Thank you for saving my sanity and his! It’s good to know there’s someone you can count on when you need to track down a product that’s scarce. Good job.

Got one with our purchase of the XBox 360 and wanted another…works just as great! no cords to trip on or limit movement during play. Batteries last a long time with charger
Works great but it came very dirty.

The product came in good shape but it was really dirty. It worked perfectly however like I said it was really dirty. I had to take some household cleaning agents to clean it. It had some gunk between and on the buttons and triggers but it plays like new. I only say this because I payed a few extra bucks for it because it said that the item is in like new shape. After cleaning it. It looks practically new. Happy about it.
Broke within in days

Within a few days of receiving the controller the right bumper broke. will not click and you have to press it hard to work. I plan to contact microsoft about sending it off to get fixed.

There’s not much to say about this really. One of my controllers that came with the game fell about 6 feet onto our tile floor for the 20th time and finally bit the dust, so I bought this as a replacement. The price on Amazon at the time was $10 cheaper than most local stores, plus there wasn’t any sales tax.
The controller I purchased on here was ok, but it didn’t seem quite as rugged as the original. The left stick made a tiny squeaking noise when used for the first couple of hours and it’s been quiet since. The controller works well, as you would expect from an OEM. It just feels a little more “cheap” for some reason. I can’t really put my finger on it. The one that fell was over three years old, so maybe they are made by a different supplier now.
Broke too easily when throwing into the ground

These game makers are killing me. The games are too hard and when you smash a controller into the ground it breaks. I’m not impressed.

2 – Hour Battery Packs?

I hate having to change battery packs every 2 hours and no matter how long I would charge it,2 hours the battery pack would go dead.I could be in a Madden ranked match about to kick a field goal to win the game and my controller would stop working(at all).I don’t know if the packs were designed that way or the charger didn’t function right,but it would be the same story every time.Im sticking with the wired controller for now on until the packs can can fixed right(24 hours)!
