I must say, having an ipod is great. I have 13,824 songs on mine and it is full. Apple says they hold 30,000 3 minute songs with 128bit rates. Who would want any songs at 128? they sound like crap. Like any electronic device, you may get some glitches and problems, but in general they last a lot longer than people seem to think, if you take care of them. Over all, a great product. There is a reason tens of millions of people buy these things.

Product arrived as advertised. The only regret I have is selecting super saver shipping. It should be renamed: super stinkin snail speed slow shipping service. Almost two weeks from Nevada. Next time I will pay a few extra bucks to get the product in a reasonable time.

Love it – handy and easy to use
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I have used this everywhere. I can put my entire music collection, all my movies/tv shows, games, and podcast, and still have room for photos of my daughter. I can make play list for any mood, and have it on hand for in the car, or what ever I am doing. When I go and visit family who don’t have computers or internet, I can have it on hand for showing them video that I have made of my daughter and have the photos as well. My 3 year old daughter even enjoys watching videos on my ipod.

I also enjoy the fact that it has the calendar and contacts feature so I can don’t have to carry something separately. Especially when I travel and I need look up a phone number of a contact or to see what event are coming up.

You can also make new play list on your ipod without hooking it up to your computer. You can also set up multiple clocks so you can keep track of the time in the event you have family in different timezones.

getting a replacement from Apple
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I’ve had my iPod Classic 120gig since May and initially was very pleased with the device. However, a few months ago the iPod began malfunctioning. It would freeze up in the middle of some songs, or completely skip over other songs. I tried to reinstall the faulty files, only to have iTunes dump everything off the iPod (over 2,000 songs!) and thereafter refuse to sync. Since this initial failure, I’ve been able to load at most 400 songs onto the device before it freezes and I have to start the whole process over again. I sent it back to Apple and the returned it to me stating they could not find the problem. After several more attempts to re-sync the iPod, I contacted customer support again and they have agreed to exchange this iPod for a new one. I am very pleased with their customer support, but very dismayed at how little use I’ve gotten from this very expensive music player. Hopefully the new one will work better.

This a replacement for my 4 year old 30G Classic iPod which died after spending 4 years in a hot car i the south Florida sun. I am completely thrilled with the new one although I don’t know what I will ever do with all of the space.

If you have not tried an iPod and you have a lot of CDs do yourself a favor and get one. I had 525 CDs on my 30G with a little room to spare, I bought an 8G for an employee and Have 50 or so CDs on it with room to spare. My new 120G will hold 50,000 songs! I can’t begin to tell you how great it is to have my entire CD collection in 1 small package instead of having to pull over, open up one of the binders and play the CD. Next I buy a USB turntable and turn all of my rare vinyl into digital and put that on the iPod too!

This classic model is larger and heavier than I anticipated and no where in the initial description on Amazon did it mention that it was an “old model”….

If only the battery life lasted for more than 4 hours so that you don’t have to be consisted in recharging it everyday. I use it on my commute and during my workout. Other than that, I can’t complain.

Everything is good except it’s a little slow sometimes and the first week I had it, it froze. Shipping was fast, the ipod is in good condition, and it was a good deal.

My New iPod Classic
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I just purchased this item and find it easy to use and love, love, love the small light weight size. It works very well with iTunes and is easy to download cd’s and purchased music. I haven’t tried it with pictures or anything else yet. Also love the large hard drive on this one too. I did buy a case for it since the back is so shiny I was afraid it would scratch. One little thing I found a bit difficult at first is the way you have to adjust the volume. Not used to using the center wheel for adjusting or changing things. I owned an Mp3 player by another company which had a button on the side to adjust the volume. I am getting used to it. Guess it just takes time. The sound quality is great and I now see you can buy a Bose portable item to hook up your iPod anywhere and use it without the earphones. Great idea. Easy to use for first time too. Just plug into your computer to charge the battery and follow directions. You can Sync or add songs from your library while the battery is charging. Also very easy. Love this item.

This item does not come with a car charger or A/C adapter. I bought them separately here on Amazon for a great price and bought the case separately here too.

I would not hesitate to recommend this item for purchase. The only disappointment I have is that I was not able to have mine engraved through this site as this was offered on other sites for this item but the price on this site was much better.

So since I keep it in a case, it wouldn’t be seen anyway. Put an address label on the back.

Enjoy.

This little thing is great. I have over 20,000 songs on this little thing and I think I just put a dent in the memory. This thing is great. Haven’t heard the same song yet (on shuffle) great product. I take this with me everywhere….especially the gym.

The workhorse of the iPod line. Capacity and battery life unmatched.
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I’ve been an iPod user since the original 5 GB model back in 2001, and I must admit that I’ve been captured by the iPod touch for quite a while.

After a while, however, I got tired of rotating my collection through the meager 32 gigs available to me on my 1st-gen touch, and decided to snag a 120GB Classic to jam it all in there.

VERY wise decision. The Classic doesn’t have a lot of bells and whistles compared to the slick iPod touch and the iPod nano models available today. But what it DOES have is impressive capacity and astonishing battery life.

The only iPod available with a hard drive (I speak of the Classic line in general, not just this model), you get more than enough space for most people’s music collections to carry with you wherever you go. Sure, not everyone NEEDS to bring everything with them, but those that do appreciate the capacity.

The screen is definitely not the most impressive in the world, especially compared to the iPod touch’s much larger touchscreen. But for everyday usage, the classic’s bright yet smallish screen is quite adequate and very clear and readable.

Amusingly enough, I carry both my 32 gig iPod touch with me as well as this one. The difference is, the touch has become my palmtop computer. The classic has become my workhorse, my mobile jukebox, the iPod that I use to play every scrap of audio I own. Sure, the interface hasn’t significantly changed since the first 80/160 gig models a couple of years ago…but it hasn’t NEEDED to. This is the iPod you get when capacity and battery life outweigh every other consideration.

As long as you’re saving money on this model over the newly released 160 gig model that retails for $249.99, there’s no reason at all NOT to get this iPod. However, if you don’t mind spending a little bit more, that extra 40 gigs is a nice extra cushion for the larger collections and should work nicely until we start seeing a 500 gig iPod (I hope) next year. :D

Now if Apple could just make a Classic that doesn’t have the scratches-if-you-glance-at-it metal back…

Overall I had been extremely pleased with my Ipod 120, however, within the first two months the inner prongs of the loading/charging area fell out. I’ve gone too the apple store and the geek squad with know more luck than “We have know idea.” or “Probably be cheaper to buy a new one.”

Sincerely McDissapointed

Never received this product seller Laura Plescia
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I wish that I could write a review, I was suppose to have this product from Laura Plescia by the 22nd of Sept. It is now Sept 29th and after 6 emails to the seller I haven’t gotten one response or this product. She has taken my money of course. I had to file a claim with Amazon so just so everyone knows, this seller is a crook!!! I will try and buy another ipod from another company.
