Excellent item
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I had never used a GPS before, and last week I used this item on a trip up north. It is was the first time I travelled without lots of maps and directions from Mapquest or Rand McNally – and when I changed my plans at the last minute – there was my GPS to direct me how togo. If I made a wrong turn, it instantly put me back on track – It is easy to use, efficient and saved my husband and I a lot of time trying to find out how not to get lost when we made a wrong turn! Great item. Everyone should have one.

Need upgrade included
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
The product was in good shape; you couldn’t even tell it had been refurbished. The problem I have is that I took a trip the day after I received it and the Magellan hasn’t been a bit of help because it needs an upgrade. I paid over $80 for it and I already have to buy a $50 upgrade?

Maestro Review
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The maestro is light , slim and relative easy to use. I have this model and the roadmate 2000. the 2000 does the same things, is a bit easier to use and has a greater variety of map colors. The 2000 also seems to recalculate much faster when you miss a turn.

A great tool for the road

I like this GPS because it shows everything I need, including a menu of how far I’ve driven, how fast I’m going, and other features. Plus, I can move the map around by touching the screen.

This is my first GPS, and it’s great. I have used it on roadtrips a few times and it works great, the only problem I have is that sometimes it takes longer routs. But all in all its a great GPS

Good GPS Navigator
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I have used this GPS for about three weeks and it is a good product for the price. It doesn’t have all the whistles and bells but it does a good job with trip navigation. There is limited point of interest (POI) but gets the job done if you know your destination.

FABULOUS!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This GPS was MADE FOR ME! I have spent half my life lost on the road, but no more! I don’t know what to do with all my free time! The directions are clear, both verbal and visual. I recomend it for EVERYONE!

An interesting fact, the GPS sent us to the wrong house once, (the opposite side of the block). It seems the original plans were in the GPS, and then for some reason the addresses were changed after the homes were built.

Still got us to where we were going!

AAA, all as advertised, fast shipment, works well
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Works well, picks up satellites rapidly. Some of the POI are not up to date. Has a great feature that shows POI coming up when you are approaching freeway exits.

Not bad but not perfect
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Worked very well most of the time with a few quirks (would occasionally reboot itself). On long trips would sometimes pick a much longer route than what made optimal sense, so best to double-check with a paper map. Lasted about 15 months and then the plastic power receptacle cracked, making it unusable. I would buy a refurbished one (<$100) the next time.

Great Starter GPS
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is my first GPS system and I must say how pleased I am. Straight out of the box, this little beauty is intuitive to use and works great. It had no issues with acquiring a good satellite signal. While driving in construction traffic, the little reroute icon popped up right on time to take us a faster way. Another cool experience was that just for fun I had it route me to work using the shortest distance. This smart little machine actually found a new way for me to go to work that saves me time and gas money.

I was a little hesitant to order a refurbished unit, but those qualms went away as soon as I opened the package. Everything is included and it is as good as new as far as I am concerned. Buying refurbished helped me to easily afford an item that was selling for double what I paid for it at other places.

It is a fabulous unit at a very affordable price.

Maestro is fun, if quirky
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I’ve had fun arguing with this GPS when it tells me to turn right then turn around. It finds where I am quickly, but sometimes picks some odd routes to get other places.

NOT GOOD
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
Don’t waste your money on this thing.

It is a piece of junk. Ordered this because my 2004 GPS need an update, Hope this new GPS have up to-date information. Entered the address hoping this thing will show me the direction, I ended up arrived in a totally wrong places. It happened not once but twice. The second time happened when we ere on road trip…what a mess. My old one (build in Toyota Prius) works much better than this.
