The BEST!!!!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Best games, HD, Microsoft extender view files, movies, pictures, music, even live cable television, also Netflix movies. I am always learning new things this machine can do. High recommend if for every home, these things are just going to get more and more interactive, I have heard their there planning on making these to function like a tivo in the future, not 100% sure on that, it is just a rumor but I wouldn’t put it past Microsoft. I hear they have a bunch of new toys coming out to rival Apple and the Ipod line, I think Xbox might have a role in it. Many of these to chose from on Amazon so go big now so when these upgrade you have the memory to support it.

Broken Xbox – Good Service
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I received it in timely manner and was very happy with the speed of the delivery, however after three weeks it stopped working correctly and won’t start. Luckily, Microsoft will fix any Xbox with the Red Ring hardware problem for free if it is less than three years old so I’m still good.

The seller contacted me and was very friendly and courteous and offered a partial refund. As the Xbox was working when I received it, there was no way they would have known it would break after a few weeks. I was unknowingly sold a faulty product, yes, but they made up for it with their excellent service.

Most unreliable product ever!

If your going to buy this product get an extended warranty because your going to need it. Product has failed twice since we purchased. Both time when I go to the support website to open a ticket and print a shipping label the site is unable to generate a shipping label. Then you have call their support line that takes you to India, navigate the maze of press 1 or 2 until you get somebody with a pulse. They will then cancel the support ticket and open a new one and snail mail the shipping label. Then you have to ship the box back to them for repairs so do not throw away the original packaging as you will need it multiple times to ship back to Microsoft for repairs.

The experience is so aggravating that I vow never to buy another Microsoft product again! I have had it with this company and the inferior products.

Waste of time.

It was great when it worked, which was about the first six months. Red ring of death, called microsoft who offered me a “refurbished” system. NO Thanks.

when it did work, it was loud and generated alot of heat so much so that after an hour of gameplay you wouldn’t want to put your hands on it.

I can’t stand microsoft, so I purchased a warranty from best buy who was happy to give me a full refund. I moved onto the PS3, which runs silent doesn’t get hot, plays blue ray movies and comes ready for wireless internet. Did I mention that the online gameplay is free, and you don’t have to break your hand changing the batteries in the controllers?

The 360 does have a great many games, but the machine is crap. Everyone I know that has a 360 has been forced to replace them at least twice.

Do yourself a favor, avoid this machine it will break.

Useful feature not covered above
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I’ve built up quite a library for this thing, even though it has not yet arrived in my eager hands. I played it on several occasions at a friend’s house and look forward to having one to call my own. One of the most useful features is not covered in the description above. The wired controllers are two parts, the cable has a breakaway feature that is a lifesaver if you have people wandering around between your couch and TV without looking where they are going. Instead of “CRASH, BREAK, OH NO!” when someone snags the cable with their foot, it comes apart without disturbing the base unit at all. I’m not saying it’s a loose connection, just that the fit into the base unit is tighter than the breakaway part and this is by design to keep your expensive video game from accidents. The games look great too.

pretty good

I like the Xbox. Only thing is I would buy the HD cord. The games look better with it.

The origional Pro
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I bought an origional Pro (20gb) shortly after they came out. It only just broke on me! It has the optical drive problem, where it won’t read discs, not the RROD problem. It worked great untill a few weeks ago. I have no complaints other than now with the download game to HDD option, the 20GB doesn’t seem like much.
