Love it!!!

I’m an adult female, and most video games make me dizzy to play…and I always seem to die in them no matter how hard I try to play it…The Lego games ROCK! I love all of them! Lego Batman, Lego Indiana and Lego Star Wars…I have them all, and have to compete with my 5 year old to play them! Best part is, is that you never really die…u can play and play! (Granted, u lose coin, but u can always earn more)

Definately a 5 star rating from me!!!

WII Lego Indiana Jones
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My boys (12, 10 & 7) LOVE this game. It was hard to get them to stop. They especially liked escaping from the mines and movie #3. The game follows the movies so it is fun to watch the movies again too. It is easier to play than Lego Star Wars so it would be good to start with this game and then move to the Lego Star Wars. My 10 year old has beaten the game so he is going to get Lego Batman for his birthday. The Lego games are great because they can battle without blood.

Lots of fun

I’ve been playing this game with my wife. We’ve been having a lot of fun. We’ve played through the whole game once, now we’re going back getting everything with all the characters we’ve unlocked. The total replayability is probably fairly low for us, because we probably won’t play it again once we’ve gotten everything maxxed, but we’ll get a couple of solid playthroughs, and we’re having a great time. We’ve got a 6 month old, and he’s quite a handful at times, but at any time, either of us can drop out, and take care of him, and hop back in whenever we’re finished. There have been a couple of small bugs (like not being able to interact with a certain object), but restarting the level has always fixed it. It’s only happened twice, and only really wasted about 5 minutes of our time.

Bought this as a gift for a 10-year-old who really seems to like it. It came quickly, too!

Before starting the review, let me just clarify something…this game DOES NOT have Wii motion sensing…nothing will happen if you swing the Wii remote-don’t bother, you’ll look like an idiot. Now, let me begin. When I first got this game for the Wii, I kind of doubted it. I mean, it’s like buying a singing game if you don’t like singing. The Legos just attracted me to it, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it. But after buying it, I didn’t play it much. I played the other new games I got. After trying to play it, I just left it with my other unused video games to collect dust. After being bribed into it by my sister, I finally decided it was time to play Lego Indiana Jones again. I had a really good time playing it. My sister was always Indy while I was the secondary character, whether it be Short Rounds or Willie. You’ll find that, throughout every episode, Indy is always running or chasing after the bad guys with his team and, also during each episode he develops a crush with a different girl. Also during every story, there’s a little humor as there is in every Lego game. Lego proved itself worthy of my playing yet again and I can’t wait for the second one. I also can’t wait for Lego Harry Potter, because I’m a big fan of the books and I’m currently reading all seven through again. Lego can always be trusted as a video game theme with my experience, and if you haven’t played just one, you’re really missing out.

Not as fun as LEGO Star Wars…but passes the time.
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I purchased this after loving LEGO Star Wars…I must admit I was a little disappointed with LEGO Indiana Jones. It is extremely easy to collect “LEGO pieces” to get the status “True Adventurer”…unlike Star Wars where you really had to work at collecting them to reach “True Jedi”. Overall this game is fun but at times a little boring.

I am 8 and do not play it a lot but my brother who is almost 6 loves this game. He plays it over and over.

Love Indiana Jones? This game is for you!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This game follows all the stories of the trilogy with lots of little hidden surprises. Of course, if you are used to the Lego series you know what to expect. I enjoyed it because it wasn’t too violent or bloody like some other games and when my kids are around I don’t have to explain any gore because there is none. The episodes are challenging enough and because it’s Lucas, some Star Wars references are also placed in the game. My only complaint is the loading from episode to episode in the Free Play mode because it follows Indy’s path on the map like in the movies when he travels.

Great game, but very similar to Star Wars
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This was an excellent game. It was very difficult at times but is so much fun. Basically any character from you can think of, they have. (Except for the monkey, which is there but you can’t play as.)(Most people you have to buy or unlock.) They may stray a little far from the path; a few things may happen in the game that weren’t in the movie, but still fun to play.

However, if you’ve played LEGO Star Wars and didn’t like it, then unless you are a die-hard Indy fan, I suggest you don’t buy it. The only difference is that it’s Indiana Jones.

I, however, LOVE Star Wars AND Indiana Jones, and so if you do to than this is the perfect game!

The game was purchased for my Son, but after watching him play the adventure, I started playing it more and more. The game is just like the trilogy, exciting every time.

Great video game for son…he loves it.

I bought this game for my son. He loves it. We love playing all the lego games … hopefully more on the way. I have to make him turn it off. And he now wants to see the movies of which I loved as a kid.

Great gift for my wife (and kids.)
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
My wife and kids have had great times and hours of fun playing this game. I’ve played it with my wife when getting through a level was easier with two people. It is creative, humorous, and fairly intuitive. We did run through a glitch with the game or disc that the game would hang right at the end of one level, but that resolved itself before we had to get technical help, and that is my only complaint with the game. I think it is really a Nintendo game made to work on the Wii and not a Wii game per say, but it is great fun.

HardyBoy64 December 6, 2009 at 11:24 am

-Minus 2 Stars for being too glitchy!
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Very fun game, but be prepared for some frustration due to some glitchy game play.

Once, my Indy was riding an elephant and he fell into this canyon, so I assumed he would just die and I’d get my guy back. NO! He was down in the hole with the elephant but I couldn’t see him at all and I had to abort the level and start over. On each level, there are 10 treasure to find. Once, the game gave me credit for 11!

Weird oddities are common in this game, but if you can look past them, it’s a very fun game. (Batman Lego is still my favorite, though.)

A Mom’s perspective…
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This game was purchased for my son (and I think a little bit for my husband). The things that I find good about the game:

1. Violence is limited to smashing LEGO pieces apart. So while there is lots of destruction and mayhem, it seems somewhat sanitized to me because it is done with blocks.

2. The story segments are humorous/cute even to adults.

3. A game that can keep a kid or adult interested. Not too hard, not too easy.

4. This game would be best suited to kids over 8 (assuming they are regular game players). The label says 10 and over.

The complaint that I heard most was:

1. You have to play the same part of the game OVER AND OVER again until you get to a new level. You can’t save your game mid-level. So if you get stuck at a point near the end of a level and you have to stop the game, either you let the thing run, or you have to shut it off and start from square one again.

Mistake with a reward

The item arrived with in a few days, The case was in great shape. The only problem was it was the disc was not the same as the case. It was WII Tennis instead. The vendor corrected the problem which made my grandaughter very happy. At first I thought the Tennis disc did not work but all it needed was wiped.

PS to the vendor, if you want the tennis disc please send a return merchandise envelope with postage paid and I will send it back.

Love It
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Let me tell you: it’s not easy to get my 8 year old son to stop asking me to let him play “M” rated games, but since I snapped up Lego Indiana Jones, there has been some very little need for me to so no (at least as it regards permission to play video games).

I’m not going to completely re-hash what everyone has written; that would be redundant. I’m simply going to say that not only is it fun and engaging, not only is my 8 year old challenged and excited to play (yet capable of advancing through the game without help), it’s a total gas to watch. I’ve found every cut-scene that mirrors moments from the movie to be hilarious and enjoyable, and I’ve jumped in to play quite a bit myself.

Truly a family game (though not if you don’t like Lego-on-Lego violence, particularly with whips), Lego Indiana Jones was worth every penny.

Fabulously fun!

This game is just a lot of good family fun. If you like the Star Wars Lego version, this is just as good even without the Jedi powers. :)

Hours of Action and Puzzle Fun
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I picked up this game because the Lego Star Wars game for the DS and Wii was so entertaining. After playing it for the past couple of weeks, I can honestly say this one edges out its Star Wars brother.

The best part about this game is the mix of action (running, jumping, climbing, etc) with the puzzles. There’s a good balance of both with more puzzles in this one than in Lego Star Wars game. Although the game uses both the standard Wii remote and the Nunchuck, the controls are simple and straight forward with on screen cues to guide you at times. Both the action and the puzzles are challenging enough for adults but not so challenging that my kids (7 and 9) couldn’t master them. To top things off, the cut scenes are humorous with a few making me laugh out loud.

The game covers the first three movies of the Indiana Jones franchise so you get hours of play out of the thing. Couple the long play with the fact that the price of other games being $10-$20 higher and it’s easy to see that this game is a steal.

Fun game, more difficult then others
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I am not a big Wii gamer. I have Star Wars in which I love playing. This game is fun, but its hard to get across some of the obstacles and gets so frustrating I just turn it off and play another game. I guess I have limited patience, but this game is fun, but 3 out of 5 stars due to how complex it can be sometimes compared to other Wii games I play !

This is a great game… my 9yrs old and my 6 yr old love it. I love games that they play 2 player as a team rather than against each other.
