There’s No One Like PeeWee!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
PeeWee rocks all the way through this, his first feature length film. The character actors are perfect, the effects are hilarious and he is a doll!

Buy it if you don’t own it.
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Just becuase this is a re-release doesn’t mean it’s bad. If you don’t own this already, buy this one as:

A: It might have more features.

B: Better DVD casing.

And if you don”t buy this version, that’s fine. It is still a good flm, wait for it on Blu-Ray, just if you buy a DVD version of this film, make it this one.

From an old school Pee-Wee fanatic…
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I loved Pee Wee as a child and had both this movie and Big Top Pee Wee on VHS. I still know both of them by heart and wanted to make sure that my kids had these movies too. I read the reviews about the movie being cut during editing and I think the reviews were ridiculous. If you were to actually look at the movie run times, the older version was 92 minutes compared to this dvd running for 90 minutes. I dont think 2 whole minutes of small cuts summed up changed the movie. I would have never noticed had I not had been looking for them because of the reviews I had read. There were some bloopers that were corrected though. We used to get a kick out of seeing Pee Wee pull the chain out of his bike but being able to see the chain coming up thru the bottom. This was corrected, but not to worry, there are still some of the great mess ups that contributed to the greatness of this masterpiece. Pee Wee may be a pervert, but if you did not love this movie growing up, then you could not have been a happy child.

Another Tim Burton Classic!!!
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is a really good classic of the 80′s! Since it’s a Tim Burton film, you get a depressing tone, Danny Elfman music, and black & white stripes. I love the way Pee-Wee’s house looks. Pee-Wee’s pimped out bike is stolen, and he goes around America looking for it. From Texas to Hollywood he looks for it, and he finally finds, but he has to outrun the security guards of Hollywood. If you loce the 80′s and comedies, you’ll love PEE-WEE’S BIG ADVENTURE!!!

Pee Wees Big Adventure- Funny Comedy
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This movie is really funny for someone with a “silly” kind of humor. It is good for young kids as well as young teens and adults. This is a family movie we all love. It’s craziness makes it worth watching over and over.

It’s not yet known, but this may not be any different from the last time it was on DVD
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
It’s august ’08 and this movie came out a few years ago on DVD. Why should there be a new release? Should there be a new release? There’s no special features to show as of the time of this review. If you all ready own a copy don’t waste your money.

Great movie! Good enough to be worth buying, and I don’t say that often.

Tim Burton’s best
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
The great American journey film, and Tim Burton’s greatest film, as well as his first. Also, perhaps Danny Elfman’s finest score. It is Pee-Wee Herman before his fall, and as he exists eternally. In so many ways, this is a film of paradise lost.

Any Generation will have fun with this movie
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought copies of this classic, silly, fun movie for friends in 4

different generations. They all loved it. The youngest, age 10,

has seen it 3 times now. The oldest 56, remembers the hilarious

Pee Wee from his childhood. Just good fun. Memorable.

Still haven’t gotten it….1 month and 1 day later

It’s a DVD…how would you review a DVD? It’s a movie that I watched when i was 3 and 4 years old and liked it. I live in Europe so APO shipping is worthless on the military’s part. Im sure the seller sent it 2 days after I ordered it and it’s on it’s way.

Brings Back Great Memories
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I laughed and laughed watching Pee Wee again after all these years. My kids (who are now in their late 20s and 30s) can still recite most of the lines from this movie that they watched over and over and over and over again 20 years ago. You will crack up over the hilarious scenes with Pee Wee’s friend, Francis, the “Tequila” dance in the biker bar, Pee Wee’s discussion with Simone about “her big but,” his ride in the semi with “Large Marge” and many, many more along Pee Wee’s journey to find his missing bike.

listen to the commentary
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
In my top 5 favorite movies of all time! Listen to burtons commentary to understand why scenes were changed or deleted for the Dvd release. The deliberate gaffes in the theatrical version are sorely missed, but they don’t take away from the unironic, child- like glee of this unique celebration of stunted adulthood.

What else to say…Get it. Watch it alone and laugh, watch it with your kids and repeat lines forever. Watch it as a drinking game and be hammered by the end of “I don’t make monkeys, I just train them!”.
