This item did not ship with the wheel. Had to send it back for a refund.

Terrific product

This is really a lot of fun on the Wii. Easy to set up and use right out of the box.

Excellent game. The free steering wheel is a great added bonus. Makes driving much easier holding the wheel. Great selection of cars and tracks to choose from as well.

Cars limited

This game is limited on car models, but if you are ok with that it is a fun game for the price.

A blast to play
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
One of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Just pop the remote in the wheel or play with just the remote–up to 4 players. In the champ mode the skill level gets harder as you get better which is great. Not much fot the drift mode but was not why I bought the game. As you win races you unlock more and more cars. This is a game I can play for hours on end. Great game.

Great deal for a great game!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is my favorite non-stunt racing game created for Wii. A very straight-forward racing game. Great controls! Responsive, but not over sensitive. Graphics are typical of a classic arcade racing game. You can chose to race in a championship, or just a quick race. Unlockable items for the variety of cars. Different types of tracks – racing tracks, country and city scenery. Awesome game!!

Racing game plus drifting…wow
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This game has an immediate short coming, the graphics. Certainly not the most advanced but they do a nostalgic appeal and are better then Top Gear for SNES.

This game shines in the variety of cars you get and the types of races you race. You have a large selection that compares with some high end racing games (Gran Tourismo 3). You have a long list of manufactures and cars you don’t expect like the super mini class.

Throw in the drifting races and you have yourself one heck of a racing game!

Really crude game
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I bought this game because someone said it was fun for kids. Well, my two-year-old does like it, even though he can’t control the cars in the game. For a normal gamer, this game sucks. The graphics is extremely crude, like PSOne or even pre-PSOne games. The “wheel”, which holds your Wiimote, is sturdy but it’s not easy to steer at all. For one thing, you don’t really get a feel for how the cars steer, unlike a real racing wheel. It’s also tiring to hold it in the air for a long time. Even though the game set me back just 20 bucks, I feel I wasted my money.

GT Pro doesn’t have to go…

To extremes to make my family happy…

Sure the graphics are not PS3 crisp and this is a repackage of the game in general rushed for launch but we are enjoying it.

I have seen a number of negative reviews about this game and yes it does have it’s issues. Not being able to save anymore than one person’s data is a pain (ok maybe I missed something) if you are trying multiplayer.

In spite of it’s rushed to market shortcomings the game has kept us entertained. The addition of the racing wheel was a nice touch.

If it were stolen or scratched I would consider buying it again.

Fun for a few times

This is a neat concept and a pretty good deal to get the steering wheel. This steering wheel is the basic Wii one. It work pretty well. The game gets repetitive and the graphics are terrible. The Wii was not meant for racing games.

its ok … i guess.
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
the game itself is moderately fun but as other review mentioned the graphics are about on par with a playstation 1. the game is odd in that instead of winning money for races you earn random parts and upgrades for your car. which is ok except that you only get new stuff the first time you win a race, so if you are stuck and have gotten 1st place on all the races you can win there isnt any way to move forward in the game besides trying over and over and over again. also i ended up using crappier cars for the majority of the game because having a faster car just makes the race much more difficult because all the opponents will also have faster cars.

the wheel that comes with the game is almost the same black wheel that is sold independently, i like it a lot and would suggest it for anyone who plans on playing racing games.

if you are just buying this for the wheel, don’t. just buy the wheel it self. the only other racing game i’ve played for the wii so far is excite truck but that game was way more fun and the graphics looked much better.

A nice game idea makes for great fun
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
A few weeks ago I managed to pickup a 4-5 year old version of Gran Turismo 3 for the Playstation 2. This game comes close to it from the game idea point of view but as a low spec version.

Graphics are that of what you are used to from an Amusement arcade 4-5 years ago, but let that not fool you the game idea is still brilliant.

The game fun is on the same level as “Excite Truck”. The difference is that “Excite Truck” is really more a fun focused car racing game with stunt effects, while GT Pro Series is more like the original arcade racing game type (no stunts).

I was positively surprised to see that the steering wheel that comes with it is actually very sturdy (strong) and usable.

An interesting fact is also that the environment (streets, bridges etc) looks very similar to Japan, so from that point its very real.

What makes this game very playable is the fact that you really have all kind of levels (Beginner to Pro) and many varieties of cars to choose from. A speciality of the game is the little 660cc engine type 1 person mini transporter that you also see still in big towns like Tokyo.

The game does impressively teach you why the starting position is so important and how you loose important time already during the first 30 seconds which you have to fight back inch by inch during the rounds.

The sunlight reflections and shadows are features which make the scenarios more real and add an (un)certain factor to it.

The drifting effect seemed to much at first but once you play it you realize how to use it ;-)

I like the game idea of this game (and Gran Turismo) where you have to win several races to master the next higher level and do a driving license in advance.

The replay function after each round is also a much appreciated feature that lets you refocus where you went wrong or should improve and/or what worked out rather nicely.

The game does also include a kids mode, however I was unable to tell any difference.

So the concept of the game is very sound. Its also very much fun to play.

THE most nifty feature that is the included must be the steering wheel. You can virtually imagine how you sit in your car. Also is pretty simple it does the trick and brings the interaction with the game to the next level.

Summary: A sound concept is the base for this nice entertaining non-violent car racing game. You have to win races and make a driving license to enter the next racing level. This is probably one of the best car racing games I have played game idea wise.

My only complaint would be that if the graphics would be slightly better than I would have no hesitation to give the games 5 stars. But be assured, this does not influence the games fun level.

So so…..

Purchased a GT Pro series with wheel for Wii. The wheel itself is very flimsy and small. The steering etc. is not all that good. All in all I would give it a 5 at best.

Pro Series

This game is not what I expected. It is fun but has many cliches. I do not suggest buying this one new or without trying first. Ours will not load muliple players it freezes frequently.
