Fun but…

This is a fun game but leveling takes forever.

I stopped playing at level 76.

Just takes too much time to level!

I have 4 other characters to get from 70 to 80

and I don’t have that kind of time to spend on it

anymore. If you have the time to kill I highly

recommend this game!

A lot Harder than Burning Crusades

If, like me, you burned through the Burning Crusades expansion in about two weeks and are thinking of doing the same with this one, you might be mistaken. It takes forever to level in the 70′s, which is probably to be expected. Getting around Northrend is a big pain in the butt too. You can’t fly from one end to the other even if you have the flightpath on each end. You basically have to connect them in “baby-steps” from one end to the other. So for about a month it literally took about 30 minutes to get anywhere I needed to go because I would have to catch the boat. You can literally go cook yourself some dinner while waiting for the boat ride to end too. It takes forever. Depending on your sever, you may find yourself playing in an abandoned land. Imagine the frustration of not being able to find any PvP action or people to group with for instances. If you are in Dalaran, expect SW type lag X 20, and every 20 seconds there is some gold selling website spamming their site all over the place. Despite these downfalls I still enjoy the game because of the PvP. WinterGrasp is really fun even though they should cut short the wait time. (2 hours 20 min or so) Also, in order to get any Arena Play you have to sign directly from a capital city whereas for BG you can do so anywhere. They should fix this too as some people would like to work on their skills without having to camp the Arena Master in a capital city.

A New Expansion of World of warcraft, new class Death Knight, New map Northrend, New battleground Isle of conquest….

I feel bored after i reach lvl 80. People just keep doing heroics to get badges, build up better gears to raid.

WoW has become nothing more then a never-ending grind…

After playing through WoTLK, hitting 80, raiding and getting geared, I finally just stopped one day and said “Why am I playing this game?” All the game is, is one long grind session…whether you’re grinding for experience, grinding for gold, grinding for pvp points, grinding for gear, grinding for rep, etc. And then once you have all epic items and think all the grinding is behind you, GUESS WHAT? An expansion pack or patch comes out and you have to grind all over again for your end game gear, rep, gold, etc. This game is an enormous time sink and at the end of the day what did you really accomplish?

You shouldn’t be reading reviews on a video game on Amazon. Go to [...] or something. But for what its worth: as far as MMORPG’s go, THIS is how expansions for games should be! TONS of new content, not too pricey… Really you can’t play World of Warcraft without it.

I have been playing for a long time, but we took a break just before this expansion came out. So by the time we came back everyone was 80.

A lot of new content was added to the game. Its still a great time sink and you still need friends to do a lot of the content.

Same idea as the original and Burning Crusade, just with more places to go and new things to do. If you buy it like this you will have to redownload all the patches, but if you get it from online, you just download and can start playing right away. You must have both World of Warcraft and Burning Crusade for this expansion to work.

Furthermore, you will not be able to get to level 80 without this. You will be stuck at 70.

Worst PC Game Ever Created

I attempted to try this game out to see what some of my nerdy friends where all ecstatic about and what consumed all their free time. Since I’m a gamer and enjoy just about everything except perhaps this game and a few others. This is so addictive for some because of its simplicity and it fills those people’s voids of realistic social interactions. Now about the game, graphics are horrible cartoon like characters. When you customize you are only changing the color and a few minor things. Basically you look like everyone else with a different color pair of pants. When you play you are dealing with people who have poured their lives into this so for anyone who is a beginner well I feel sorry for you. You will just be called a “noob” and disregarded. I from start didn’t like the fighting styles there is no movement just noises. I have played other MMO, RPG’s. I am just sending a fore warning Do not purchase this game and become one of blizzards nerd raging minions. The game isn’t fun at all. There are new games coming that have tons of more depth and enjoyment instead of year long grind fest that will continue with new DLC. Worst game ever made!

WOW WOTLK Expansion

This game is fun for a while then becomes kill/Loot obtain better stuff. MMORPG typical lots of fun for first 5-6 months.
