Wonderful Strategy Game

Battleship Chess is an amazing effort of combining turn-based strategy with a fun and simple nautical theme. This is not your standard Battleship game – there is much more to it. It is chess-like in that you need carefully plan the position of your forces, but there’s a perfect balance of chance and planning. It gives the game wonderful replayability.
Don’t expect historical accuracy here. Forces are evenly balanced and you may move only one ship on a turn. Yet it takes a well conceived strategy with a limited amount of information to win.
I’ve only played against the computer which does a reasonable job of putting up a fight. Multiplayer looks like fun although it seems difficult to set up.
If you like a good naval strategy game and don’t mind the lack of historical accuracy, get this game. It is an absolute steal at this price.
